Our Ministries

diverse group of people

At Tempe SDA Church, we have a number of ministries to support the needs of our congregation and community.

Adventist Christian Fellowship: ACF is a registered student organization at Arizona State University (ASU) and invites all college students to join the club. If you are a college student (including non-ASU students) and would like to join or have more information, contact Chris Albrecht at (419) 575-4512 or by email.

Children’s Ministries: This ministry oversees the weekly children Sabbath School classes, monthly Children’s Vespers program, the annual Vacation Bible School, and other activities and programs throughout the year.

Community Services: Our big community initiative this year is participating in God’s Closet. One day per quarter God’s Closet opens for parents and guardians of children to come ‘shop’ donated clothing free of charge, for a $1 admission fee. Learn more at the God’s Closet Tempe Facebook page.

Deaf Ministries: We are honored to be able to support our deaf church members and visitors by providing a deaf interpreter for the second worship service every second and fourth Sabbaths of the month. Your continued support makes this ministry possible. To learn more, visit 3ADM.org.

Health Ministries: Adventists have always been strong on the health message and here at Tempe, we are no exception. Our health ministries share health nuggets, delicious recipes, and the occasional seminars.

Men’s Ministries: The purpose of Men’s Ministries to help men of the church committed their energy and resources to God, family, church and community.

Music Ministries: Tempe is a musically conservative congregation, but we are always looking for musically gifted individuals/groups who may be interested in serving as regular pianists, worship leaders, or special music guests.

Pathfinders Club: Pathfinders is a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Young people between 10 and 15 years of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization. Pathfinders offer a wide range of activities including team building, leadership, community service, spiritual growth, recreation, hobbies, skills and more with our classes and honors.

For more information on Pathfinders, visit Pathfinders Online.

Women’s Ministries: The objective of Women’s Ministries is to help the women of the church experience Jesus Christ in a personal, life-changing relationship.
